Eat-A-Pita is open Memorial weekend to the third week in October, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, featuring an interesting array of gourmet healthy, homemade dining pleasures for practically every taste and whim.

Gourmet breakfasts begin with fresh squeezed orange juice, fresh brewed organic , fair trade, coffee, custom roasted in Maine or espresso coffee drinks, a variety of tea, regular or herbal, chai teas; hot, iced or frozen.  Breakfast entrees include homemade pancakes, with real fruit flavored syrups, Maine blueberry stuffed French toast and cinnamon roll stuffed French toast, a variety of specialty omelettes and egg dishes and a unique blend of spices in our home fries.

Lunches are made with the freshest of ingredients and served until 4:00 P.M. or open til close, for takeout.  Our sandwiches are made with pita bread and stuffed with a wide array of toppings and vegetables.  Our panini menu features a variety of choices and served hot off the press.  Burgers are served your way hot off the grill.  Our specialty nut burger is homemade. Crab cake sandwiches are made with fresh local crab meat and traditional Maine lobster rolls are served lunch and dinner.  Salads are also made with a variety of vegetables and toppings. Salads, such as our huge lobster salad, cobb, Greek and spinach are among the favorites.  All sandwiches and salads are served with a homemade dressing of your choice.  Homemade soups are served with lunch or dinner.  Homemade vegetarian chili and clam chowder are just some of our specialties for which we have become known.

Dinner at Café 2 is a culinary delight.  Beginning with some of the Chef’s homemade soups and appetizers to excite your taste buds, salads that can be your dinner entree or a healthy beginning to a wonderful entree created by the chef.  Each entree is individually prepared using the freshest ingredients.  Entrees include fresh local seafood, pastas with light sauces sautéed with fresh herbs and vegetables.  Gourmet specialties such as tenderloin of beef, rack of lamb, pork tenderloin, organic or wild salmon, halibut, crab cakes made with local fresh crab meat, fresh local mussels, roasted half duckling, seared tuna (sushi grade), included are many vegetarian selections and chef’s daily specials  All entrees are served with homemade bread sticks baked fresh daily, dipped in olive oil and herbs, side salad with all our wonderful veggies and homemade dressing of your choice.

Dietary requests are happily accommodated.

Wine Down Sunday nights is extra special.  Enjoy a bottle of choice wine for half price with a dinner entree.

Your dining experience will be enhanced with our signature dessert; blueberry bread pudding with maple whiskey sauce, blueberry crisp made with Maine blueberries, a choice of homemade cheesecakes, crème brule, frozen chocolate mousse, pies, brownies or cookies, topped with homemade whipped cream or a la mode.

Whet your appetite with a variety of wines by the bottle or glass or try one of the local microbrew beers and a variety of martinis, cosmopolitans and specialty drinks from our full service patio bar.

Take-out is also available for hiking, biking, canoeing or kayaking in Acadia National Park.
